THANDAI RECIPE

Step 1

Take 25 almonds, 10 cashews, 1 tbsp pistachio, 1 tbsp melon seeds, 1 tbsp fennel seeds, 5-6 black pepper, 1 tbsp poppy seeds, and 2 pinches of saffron.

Add 1 ½ cup hot water in it and soak them for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, add all soaked ingredients in the grinding jar along with its water.

Grind all the ingredients for 1-2 rounds and then add 3 tablespoons sugar, 4 cardamoms seeds, and 2 tablespoons gulkand.

Grind it to a smooth paste. Y

Take 8 tablespoon thandai paste in a mixing bowl.

Add 2 glasses of chilled milk to it.

Whisk the milk until thandai paste and milk are combined very well.

Further, sieve the thandai using the strainer.

Thandai is ready to serve.

Pour thandai in a glass and garnish with some grated pistachio and saffron strands.
