Paneer Fried Rice Recipe | Veg Paneer Fried Rice | How to make Paneer Fried Rice with detailed photos. Paneer fried rice is made with cooked white rice, paneer (cottage cheese), and some veggies.

Veg Paneer Fried Rice is a quick recipe and you can make this recipe for lunch, dinner, or even for kids tiffin. The recipe for Paneer Fried Rice is similar to the popular fried rice recipe. For making paneer fired rice, we have added marinated paneer which makes it more delicious. You can also make this simple yet tasty recipe with leftover rice.

Here, I’m using Homemade Paneer to make this recipe more flavourful.

In this recipe, I have added chili sauce for a spicy flavor. You can also use homemade schezwan sauce instead of chili sauce for making it more flavorful.

Paneer Fried Rice Recipe


Ingredients


For Paneer Marination

1 cup paneer cubes, ¼  teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon red chili sauce,  ½ teaspoon tomato sauce, Salt to taste

For Fried Rice

4 cup cooked rice, 1 medium-sized sliced onion, ¼ cup spring onion, ½ cup chopped capsicum, ½ cup chopped carrot, 1 cup shredded cabbage, ½ tablespoon finely chopped ginger, 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic, 2-3 teaspoons chili sauce or as per your taste, 2 teaspoon soya sauce, ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder, ¼ cup  green spring onion, 2 tablespoon coriander leaves, 3 tablespoon oil, Salt to taste

How to Marinate Paneer


1. In a mixing bowl, take 1 cup paneer cubes and add 1 teaspoon red chili sauce, ¼ teaspoon chili powder, ½ teaspoon tomato sauce, and salt to taste.

2. Mix the paneer with sauces very well and keep aside for 15 minutes.

How to make Paneer Fried Rice


1. Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon oil and add paneer cubes in it.

2. Sauté paneer for 1-2 minutes and remove them from the pan.

3. Now heat the Kadhai or deep pan with 2 tablespoons of oil. Add 1  sliced onion and ¼ cup spring onion. Sauté on high flame.

4. When the onion looks translucent, add 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic and ½ tablespoon finely chopped ginger. Sauté for a minute.

5. Further, add ½ cup chopped carrot, ½ cup chopped capsicum, and 1 cup shredded cabbage.

6. Stir fry the veggies on high flame until cooked but keep them slightly crunchy.

7. Now add 2-3 teaspoon red chili sauce and 2 teaspoon soya sauce. You can add chili sauce according to your taste.

8. Also, add ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder and mix very well.

9. Add 4 cups cooked rice and sautéed paneer. Stir the rice very well on high flame.

10. Add salt as per your taste.

11. Lastly, add ¼ cup green spring onion and 2 tablespoon coriander leaves. Mix gently.

12. Switch of the flame and paneer fried rice is ready.
