This simple coconut almond modak is made with desiccated coconut, almond, milk, and sugar. Modak is a favorite food of lord Ganesha. It is mainly prepared during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.

This is an instant modak recipe which is prepared within 15 to 20 minutes and also tastes good.

For preparing this recipe, I am using dried coconut but you can also use fresh coconut. Also for making saffron milk, I have taken 2-3 teaspoons of warm milk and then added a pinch of saffron to it.
