Healthy and tasty sautéed garlic mushroom recipe is made from sliced button mushroom, garlic, coriander, butter, and black pepper.

A combination of garlic and mushroom makes this recipe very aromatic and flavourful. Garlic mushroom can be served as a side dish or as a main course in lunch and dinner along with roti, bread, or rice.

Simple yet tasty garlic mushroom recipe is a kid-friendly recipe. You can prepare this recipe for your kid Tiffin. 

One more thing is whenever you buy the mushroom, make sure they are fresh. Before cooking the mushroom, wash, peel off their skin, and soak them in saltwater.

Garlic Mushroom Recipe


Ingredients


200-gram button mushroom, rinse and sliced

1 tablespoon butter

½ teaspoon cumin seeds

1 medium-sized finely chopped onion

3 teaspoon finely chopped garlic

½ teaspoon chili flakes

¼ teaspoon black pepper powder

3 tablespoon chopped coriander

Salt to taste

How to make Garlic Mushroom


1. Heat the pan and add 1 tablespoon butter.

2. Add ½ teaspoon cumin seeds and sauté until it crackles.

3. Then add 1 medium-sized chopped onion and sauté until it looks translucent.

4. Further, add 3 teaspoons of finely chopped garlic.

5. Stir continuously and sauté garlic for a minute.

6. Add sliced mushroom and mix very well with onion and garlic.

7. Now add ¼ teaspoon crushed black pepper.

8. Also, add ½ teaspoon chili flakes.

9. Add salt to taste.

10. Mix all the ingredients very well.

11. Cover and cook the mushroom for 7-8 minutes on low flame. No need to add water because mushroom releases water while cooking.

12. After 7 minutes mushroom looks dry and soft.

13. Lastly, add 3 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves and stir.

Suggestion


1. You can use oil instead of butter.

2. You can also add tomato and capsicum in this garlic mushroom recipe.
