Potato Fries Recipe with detailed photos. Potato fries is one of the most enjoyable and easy to make tasty snacks dish. It’s mainly made from potato slices, all-purpose flour, Cornflour, and some spices with a crispy layer from outside and soft from inside.

Potato Fries Recipe is kids favorite recipe and also can be served as party snack as you can make this in large quantity in a couple of minutes. You can bake the potato fries instead of frying if you prefer healthier option.

Ingredients


3 medium-sized potatoes

3 tbsp. all-purpose flour (Maida)

1 tbsp. cornflour

 ½ tbsp oregano

½ tsp red chili powder

Oil for frying

Salt to taste

Preparation


1. Firstly take 3 medium-sized potatoes. Rinse well in water and then peel the potatoes.

2. Now cut the potato in thin slices of about 1 to 2 cm.

3. Drain the potatoes in a colander.

4. Rinse the potato 2 to 3 times in water to get rid of potato starch.


How to make Potato Fries


1. Transfer the potatoes slices into a bowl and add a 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp of cornflour.

2. Now add ½ tbsp of oregano, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, and salt.

3. Mix all the ingredients and add some water if needed.

4. Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame. To check if the oil is ready, just put potato slice in the frying pan. Potato should sizzle.

5. Add potato slice to the hot oil and fry them high flame for few seconds and then reduce the flame to medium till fries get cooked.

6. Drain the potato fries on tissue paper and sprinkle some oregano on it. Our potato fries are ready to serve.
